Commissioner District 1
District 1 Commissioner Miles D. Robinson, Sr.
Born in Jackson, Mississippi and raised in that city as well as Chicago, Illinois, Commissioner Robinson lives in Tuskegee. He received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from Tuskegee University and an Masters degree in Management/Supervision & Administration also from Tuskegee University. He also completed graduate work in Business Administration at Auburn University at Montgomery (AUM).

Transformational leaders are those who stimulate and inspire followers to both achieve extraordinary outcomes and, in the process, develop their own leadership capacity. This has been my leadership philosophy during my tenure as a County Commissioner.”

- Tuskegee University
