From Tuskegee, Take AL 81 north towards I-85, Turn Left on AL 199, go approximately 3.5 miles, go over the Railroad Tracks, then look for a green sign "Macon County Road & Bridge" to the Right. There is a chain link gate with a large open field on the left and a wooded area on the right. Office is at end of drive.
From I-85, take Exit 38. Go south on AL 81 to AL 199, turn right on AL 199, go approximately 3.5 miles, go over the Railroad Tracks, then look for a green sign "Macon County Road & Bridge" to the Right. The Road & Bridge’s mission is the economical maintenance and construction of Macon County's rural road and bridge network. Macon County maintains approximately 472 miles of paved roads, 265 miles of unpaved roads, and over 101 bridge/culvert structures.
