Serves as the lead person in the delivery of Human Resource services with the specific responsibility for HR policies, procedures, regulations and employee issues.
Specific responsibilities include administrative processes involving hiring, payroll, employee benefits, training and employee development, risk management, safety and loss control.
This office addresses a variety of personnel issues and is also responsible for administering federal, state and local employment laws, advising county officials regarding human resource issues and providing administrative support to the Macon County Sheriff’s Office regarding payroll and employment.
